RCN users write in to tell us that the latest RCN newsletter indicates that the cable overbuilder will soon be deploying DOCSIS 3.0 technology and faster speeds. P1 the newsletter, the cable operator suggests that new speeds up to 60Mbps are looming, but doesn't note full speed or pricing details. "The geeks call it 'channel bonding' but all you need to know is that it will triple our speeds up to 60Mbps," says the company. The company said back in March they were testing the faster speeds in New York and Boston, but CEO Peter Aquino seemed to downplay the faster speeds, saying less than 20% took the company's fastest 20Mbps service.

Enemy Territory - Quake Wars is facing a lot of intense competition in the realm of online PC multi player shooting games.
